So when we last posted, this 1982 Nissan 280ZX Turbo was almost finished.  It had a beautiful new coat of paint, new AC system, newly rebuilt fuel system and much more.  So we just had a few more finishing touches to address…namely the Interior.

Overall, the interior was in excellent condition. The silver leather, low back seats were intact and supple with no major wear or tears. So we cleaned the leather to remove years of grime, repaired many of the leather wrinkles and re-dyed the seats with a custom matched silver leather dye.

New carpet was installed, and all interior panels repaired and re-dyed to remove color fade. The seat belts (something we rebuild with all full restorations) were also rebuilt and reinstalled. The Auto Climate Control system was verified and made operational. All gauges (including the digital clock), door chimes and dash board feedback system.

With the Interior completed and the car looking and running fantastic, this beauty was finally ready to deliver to its owner.  The final product was gorgeous, and definitely ready to be enjoyed for the years to come.
